Description

The Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 3 Real-Time PCR System is a compact, user-friendly qPCR platform designed for reliable nucleic acid quantification and analysis across a wide range of molecular biology applications. It supports 96-well formats and uses advanced optical detection with up to four multiplexing channels, enabling simultaneous measurement of multiple targets in a single reaction. The system features fast thermal cycling, high temperature uniformity, and pre-optimized assay settings to ensure consistent, reproducible data. Its touchscreen interface and cloud-connected Thermo Fisher Connect platform allow streamlined experimental setup, remote monitoring, and secure data storage. The instrument is compatible with TaqMan™ and SYBR™ Green chemistries, with built-in tools for melt-curve analysis, gene expression quantification, genotyping, and presence/absence assays. Applications include gene expression profiling, SNP genotyping, pathogen detection, copy-number variation analysis, and validation of next-generation sequencing results. Its ease of use and robust performance make it suitable for academic research labs, teaching environments, and small to mid-scale clinical or industrial research settings that require dependable, quantitative molecular data.
