The SOPD GC–MS system pairs a Thermo TSQ 8000 triple‑quadrupole mass spectrometer with a Triplus autosampler. The autosampler automates vial handling and delivers precise, repeatable injections. It supports conditional re‑runs and other walk‑away features to minimize hands‑on time. The TSQ 8000 uses MRM acquisition for highly selective, low‑level quantitation. This combination performs well across complex matrices and routine monitoring tasks. The setup is also well suited to method development and targeted trace‑level analyses. Robust QA/QC and streamlined sample workflows are integral to its operation.
