LaboratoryCryogenic Gas Suite

This laboratory, operated by the School of Physical and Chemical Sciences, produces and supplies University of Canterbury researchers with access to liquid nitrogen (-196degC) and liquid helium (-269degC) for a wide variety of research applications. The laboratory operates a Cryomech helium recovery system that allows for sustainable consumption and conservation of helium gas from research laboratories at the University of Canterbury.
