Description

The MTS Exceed 45 Universal Testing Machine (UTM) applies controlled forces to test samples to measure their strength, elasticity, and resistance to deformation. In the School of Forestry, the UTM is used to generate material property data for wood and wood‑based products, supporting assessments of product quality, structural performance, and compliance with industry standards.
