Description

The Thermo Scientific Sorvall RC M150 GX Centrifuge is an ultra-high-speed, floor-standing centrifuge designed for advanced separation requirements in academic and research-intensive laboratories. The RC M150 GX is capable of achieving extremely high g-forces with a wide selection of fixed-angle and swinging-bucket rotors. It supports a wide spectrum of advanced life-science and biomedical research applications that require very high centrifugal forces and precise control. It is commonly used for subcellular fractionation, enabling the isolation of nuclei, mitochondria, lysosomes, membranes, and other organelles for downstream biochemical and structural analysis. The system is also well suited to ribosome and polysome profiling, macromolecular complex separation, and density-gradient centrifugation of proteins, lipoproteins, and nucleoprotein assemblies.
