Description

The Samgor ODYL-1400/70 is a 1400 kV, 70 kJ impulse voltage generator used for transient high-voltage testing of electrical equipment and insulation systems. It can generate lightning impulse, switching impulse and chopped impulse waveforms, allowing investigation of insulation performance under fast-front and slow-front overvoltage conditions. Typical applications include impulse withstand testing, insulation coordination studies, testing of transformers, bushings, insulators, surge arresters and switchgear, failure investigation, teaching, research and industry consulting.
