The Kimmon IK3501R-G is a continuous-wave helium-cadmium ultraviolet laser operating at 325 nm. It provides a specified optical output power of 50 mW in TEM00 transverse mode with linearly polarised output. The laser is suitable for optics, photonics, spectroscopy, fluorescence excitation, UV-sensitive materials studies, optical alignment, interferometry, holography, photochemistry and optical system development. As a Class 3B laser system, it must be operated with appropriate laser safety controls, training, eye protection, beam containment and restricted access procedures.
