Description

This 270-degree virtual reality (VR) projection platform for immersive simulation experience is located in the Human Interface Technology Laboratory (HIT Lab NZ). Our system uses multi-sensory cues (visuals, sound, vibration and smell) to immerse users in realistic settings. The SimPit can use VR to simulate training environments that create similar levels of stress and explore how to improve decision making.
