Description
Located in the Human Interface Technology Laboratory (HIT Lab NZ), the Virtuix omni-directional treadmill simulator for virtual reality (VR) games and applications is a specialist treadmill that when paired with a VR headset, allows a player to physically walk freely through a virtual environment in a natural manner. Players wear special low friction pads on their feet and are fastened securely into the balance ring.
