Environmental Psychology Research Group
Summary
The University of Canterbury Environmental Psychology (UCEP) research group is dedicated to informing our understanding of the psychology of environmental attitudes and action in the domains of climate change, sustainability, and conservation.
We are a collaborative group of researchers, including experienced academic staff, early career researchers, and students. Our collective mission is to enhance our understanding of human behaviour in the context of climate change, sustainability, and conservation. Through our research we aim to offer insights that can help address some of the pressing environmental issues humanity faces, nationally and internationally. We work in interdisciplinary academic settings as well as with partners on the ground, from organizations to government agencies, with an eye toward both research and practical impact.
