ProfessorSarah Wright

Professor Sarah Wright is an organisational behaviour researcher specialising in work relationships and social wellbeing in organisations. Her work examines work loneliness, relationship quality, and meaningful work, focusing on how organisational factors shape social experiences and interpersonal relationships.

She publishes widely on work loneliness and leadership, and collaborates with international researchers, industry partners, and community organisations to support evidence‑based approaches to fostering better social wellbeing at work. Her research informs organisational practice and wellbeing initiatives across sectors.

Sarah is Associate Dean Research in the UC Business School and an experienced supervisor of Master’s and Doctoral students. She contributes to teaching and mentoring in leadership and management, and is committed to strengthening research capability and fostering high‑impact, collaborative scholarship.
