ProfessorSussie Morrish

Sussie C. Morrish is Professor of Marketing at the University of Canterbury Business School. She teaches undergraduate to post-graduate strategic marketing, international marketing and entrepreneurship. She gained her PhD from the University of Canterbury in 2008 while simultaneously teaching at the University of Auckland Business School. Her main research interests revolve around the marketing and entrepreneurship disciplines including various strategic approaches to SME growth, entrepreneurial decision-making, internationalization, sustainability and the wine industry. Her more recent research explores the effects of disasters on entrepreneurial business and ecosystems, food security, and luxury consumption. She has published in top international journals including the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, Journal of Macromarketing, Journal of Strategic Marketing, International Journal of Disaster & Risk Management, Journal of Marketing Education, International Business Review and Journal of Air Transport Management. Sussie serves on various editorial boards and is Associate Editor for the Journal of Macromarketing, Journal of Strategic Marketing and Journal of Research in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. She sits on the Advisory Board of the Global Research Conference on Marketing and Entrepreneurship (GRCME).
